RESCO Engineers is an international import, distribution and trading company headquartered in Karachi, with a regional office in Islamabad. We deliver a diverse range of engineered products and services to clients across Government, industrial and commercial sectors throughout Pakistan.
The company's roots trace back to 1940 in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, where it was founded as the Radio Electric and Sound Company (RESCO) — the pioneering radio servicing organisation in the territory, holding distributorship for renowned international brands including His Master's Voice, Columbia, Marconi, Telefunken and Lafayette.
Following migration from Kashmir, RESCO was re-established in Karachi in 1955 by proprietor Mr. M.A. Lateef, an engineer who also served as Chief Executive of the Karachi office. The Islamabad office opened in 1977, led by Mr. Mahmud A. Kreashi, a retired army officer with a background in communications and electronics.
Today, the company is led by Mr. Tauseef Lateef, son of the founder, as Chief Executive Officer — carrying forward eight decades of engineering integrity into three specialised divisions.
